FIRESIDE GATHERING

This living room transformation focused on refining and completing an already beautiful space while strengthening its role as the home’s primary gathering area. Anchored by a stone fireplace, the room had strong architectural bones but lacked the balance and layering needed to make it feel cohesive and inviting.
The fireplace was carefully repaired and restored to reestablish it as the focal point of the room. From there, the design centered on improving the seating arrangement to encourage conversation and connection. A second leather sofa was introduced to create a more intentional layout, allowing the space to comfortably accommodate family and guests.
Layered accessories—including a warm wood coffee table, textured rug, sculptural lighting, and a mix of pillows and throws—add warmth and visual depth while complementing the existing furnishings. The result is a living room that feels grounded, comfortable, and thoughtfully composed—a place designed for everyday living and effortless gathering around the hearth.
