Designed as a quiet retreat for a busy mother, Peace of Mine re-imagines the traditional lounge as a place intentionally set apart from the activity of the rest of the home. The goal was to create a comfortable, layered environment dedicated to conversation, reading, and moments of pause—an interior designed to offer both beauty and a sense of mental calm.

A soft palette of warm neutrals and muted terracotta tones anchors the room, allowing natural light from the windows to gently illuminate the space. Textural upholstery, sculptural lighting, and carefully selected vintage-inspired pieces add depth while maintaining a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Without the presence of a television, the design encourages connection and quiet reflection. Layered textiles, natural materials, and curated objects create a lounge that feels thoughtful yet effortless—an everyday retreat designed to bring both peace of mind and Peace of Mine.
