A RUSTIC LIBRARY

This library/living room renovation introduced warmth, architectural character, and thoughtful layering to create a space designed for both relaxation and quiet moments of reading.
A natural wood beam was added across the ceiling to bring rustic charm and visual structure to the room, while custom black bookcases provide a bold backdrop for books and collected objects. The fireplace was refreshed with a new mantel, reinforcing it as a central gathering point.
New seating, including a comfortable sofa and reupholstered chairs, was arranged to encourage conversation while also creating inviting spots to curl up with a good book. A richly textured rug, artwork, and curated accessories complete the design, adding warmth and balance throughout the space.
The result is a living room that feels both grounded and welcoming—a rustic reading room where everyday living and quiet reflection comfortably coexist.
